Comments
Contract was completed nearly 60 days ahead of schedule.
The project involved extensive coordination of work schedules
with the Ammunition Plant. Approximately 55% of the project
area could only be worked on weekends, the rest during the
regular work week. We shifted our work week to four 10-hour
days, Thursday through Sunday, to accommodate the Owner. |
Performance
Evaluation
Overall Performance Evaluation: Outstanding
Quote from U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Performance Evaluation dated April 10, 2003:
“The quality of the work was outstanding. The crew was very experienced, knowledgeable and skilled in their work. Their work here is the finest we've seen here. Effectiveness of management was outstanding. The home office and site managers performed exceptionally. Allen Lukkar and John Murdy, field and site managers, respectively, deserve special recognition. Due to increased production to support the war effort the time specified for work periods in Line 3A was shortened one work day per week. Both managers worked with the Corps and Customer to minimize impact and work as efficiently as possible. They coordinated, managed and adjusted their operations to the extent their work was so efficient, they completed over 60 days before the contract completion date. This was phenomenal in light of all the interferences they faced. This is commendable.” |
