Comments
The time extensions granted, plus the cost increases occurred
because of constructive changes to the contract were government
initiated, and differing site conditions associated with excavation
around existing utilities were contractor initiated. Also,
many of the existing asphalt roads we cut and patched had
8" of concrete beneath the asphalt. |
Performance
Evaluation
Overall Performance Evaluation: Outstanding
Quote from Department of the Navy letter dated April 20, 2001:
“The quality of your work was outstanding. The total replacement of new cable and new transformers to 25 separate buildings was a complex electrical endeavor, which your company eagerly undertook. You completed all of the buildings in a timely manner, requesting only the barest of electrical shutdown time per building to keep the impact to the residents at a minimum. Your scheduling of these outages for the convenience of the Navy, whether it be at night or on weekends, was greatly appreciated.” |
