Jerry T. Webb - President, Founder

Mr. Webb founded Webb Electric Company of Florida, Inc. approximately forty years ago. During that period, he has remained actively involved in the day to day dealings which accompany the hundreds of projects undertaken and successfully completed. He is not as actively involved in the individual projects as he once was but remains very active in the affairs of the corporation and insures that no major problems go unresolved that adversely affect the profitability or long term stability of the company or its reputation with its customers.

Qualifications

Mr. Webb graduated from Pensacola High School in 1949. After high school he served in the United States Marine Corps for two years. In 1951 he was employed by Southern Bell Telephone and Telegraph Company, and remained there until 1962. He is a Master Electrician of the City of Pensacola and Escambia County, Florida.

Mr. Webb began Webb Electric Company on a part-time basis in 1957. In 1963, it became a full-time company and was incorporated in the State of Florida in 1965. Since the company's inception, Mr. Webb has been it's President and Chief Executive Officer with the responsibility of management over all estimators and project managers. With Webb Electric having successfully completed over 500 government projects within the United States and overseas, Mr. Webb is well versed in government contracting as well as with all technical phases in the electrical industry.
