Qualifications
Employed by Webb Electric Company full time on August 11, 1980. Responsibilities as a general laborer/helper consisted of pulling cable, trenching in PVC duct, 2" - 6", forming and pouring concrete pads, setting manholes, handholes and foundations, and being an electrician's helper. Within three years Mr. Kelly had completed extensive on-the-job electrician training. He began working on 600 Volt Secondary hookup of single and three phase equipment; control wiring for motor controls; installing 600V wire in conduit; installing rigid conduit, sizes ranging from 2" thru 6"; trouble shooting circuits; the installation of switchgear and transformers.
Medium Voltage Experience: Installing, splicing and terminating of 5kV-35kV cables; hypotential testing; and fireproofing medium voltage cable.
In 1985, assumed responsibilities of superintendent. Responsibilities include overall project supervision, manpower utilization, daily contact with government representatives, and scheduling work assignments for employees as well as subcontractors. Many of Mr. Kelly's projects require the superintendent to be an integral part of the project quality control organization. As Project Superintendent Mr. Kelly is responsible for major power outages, daily reports, safety meetings, quality control plans, environmental protection plans, estimating change orders and managing field offices. |
