Qualifications

Mr. Herrington has been Webb Electric's primary runway lighting superintendent for the last 10 years. He has a thorough understanding of airfield operations, communications and aircraft movements. He has personally supervised installations of Cat. II approach lighting systems, runway and taxiway edge lighting systems, sequenced flasher systems, and PAPI systems as well as foundation assemblies for glideslope and localizer antennae. This work was installed at various military bases across the United States including Dyess AFB, TX; Tinker AFB, OK; and Sheppard AFB, TX to name a few.

In 1990, assumed responsibilities of general superintendent. This job entails scheduling work assignments for trades, inspecting the quality and performance of these trades, planning, and preparing for major power outages and shutdowns; keeping daily reports; safety meetings; compliance with quality control plans, safety plans, and environmental protection plans; estimating change orders and managing field offices.
